3rd MEETING OF THE PROJECT "THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION AND SKILLS: EDUCATION - 2030"

In the OECD headquarters in Paris, a meeting on the revision of the content of secondary education was held between 3-4 May 2016. This is the third meeting of the project "The Future of Education and Skills: Education - 2030". 18 OECD member countries and 2 observer countries - Kazakhstan and Latvia attended the meeting. Kazakhstan was represented by the director of department of JSC IAC Yeldos Nurlanov, director of educational programs of AO NIS Zhanar Abdildina and director of the Center for Research Aizhan Kerimkulova.

The project aims to adapt the schooling to most unpredictable changes of the modern world and to outline the image of School-2030.

For Kazakhstan, which plans transition to the updated content of secondary education from 2016-2017 school year, the project is of a particular interest. Following the meeting, the Kazakhstan is included in the list of participating countries of pre-investigation phase; in addition, suggestions of all stakeholders to finalize the analysis methodology were summarized.
