ASSESSMENT OF THE PARENTS' INFLUENCE ON THE FORMATION OF LEARNERS' FUNCTIONAL LITERACY

During the period of 6 to 30 September 2015, the Department of secondary education development conducted a filed study "Assessment of parents' influence on the formation of learners' functional literacy" on the basis of 86 schools of 16 country regions.

1691 parents of 5 classes' learners, 115 administration representatives, 75 psychologists, 37 social teachers and 86 class teachers of school-participants took part in the survey.

Research objective - determination of the degree of parents' involvement in the child's successful socialization and elaboration of practical guidelines on the strengthening interaction between family and school.

Currently the survey data-processing is carried out, the results will be introduced in November of the present year.
