On November 19-20, the conference was held in Astana, having a topic: "Creation, protection and commercialization of results of the intellectual creative activity: creation of the advantageous climate for the introduction of innovations" and the round table on the topic: "Final results of the technological audit within the frameworks of implementation of the second component of a Project "Commercialization of the technologies".  The issues of creation, protection and commercialization of results of the intellectual creative activity were discussed, as well as the results of the technological audit were made there.

Experts shared their points of view about actions required for the creation of the advantageous climate in RoK for the introduction of innovations. The dialog space were devided into two main sections. The first one concerned the improvement of the national legislation in the sphere of intellectual property, the second one involved issues of management of the intellectual property in domestic universities and start-up companies.

Experts were talking about new opportunities and benefits designed for Kazakh scientists, educational institutions and businesses, provided in connection with the adoption of the Law of RK "On commercialization of results of the scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities" dd November 12, 2015.

The department of analysis and systems of the business processes management of JSC "Information-Analytical Center" acquainted participants with the current status and implementation of OECD projects "Increase of the competitiveness of Kazakhstan due to the implementation of OECD innovation policy" and "Review of the innovation policy".

Participants discussed the Basic report, the introduction of OECD standards in RoK, as well as the existing ways of commercialization of intellectual property objects. They also acquainted with a system of the cost assessment and accounting of the results of intellectual creative activity, as well as the intermediate results of the activity of the technology commercialization offices. The commercialization offices have been existing for the last five years upon a range of Kazakh universities.

The conference was attended by Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, employees of commercialization offices, universities, managers of technology parks, business incubators, national companies and public organizations, as well as foreign experts in the sphere of technology commercialization. The event was organized by the Center of technologies commercialization.
