In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan from September 1, 2011 № 328-1 on the accession of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the OECD and the intent to obtain permanent observer status in the Committee on Education and Skills Kazakhstan began the study of "Indicators of the OECD countries as a basic reference points of our way to number 30 Developed nations of the world".
This project aims to assist the Government of Kazakhstan in determining solutions to improve the situation of the early development and care of children.
Objective: to study the state policy in the field of pre-school education, as well as identifying ways to improve the quality, access and equity in early development and care of children.
Expected outcomes:
- Analysis of the main directions of the existing framework and conditions of pre-school education;
- The creation of a statistical base on the composition of the contingent of preschool children and their relation to the number of teachers, priority, qualitative and quantitative composition of teaching staff, MTB;
Development of analytical questionnaires and forms for carrying out a sociological study of families. Quality of service, competence of teachers;
- Preparation of the Baseline Report;
- Presentation and publication of the country profiles, to hold a round table "Topical issues of Kazakhstan's policy in the field of improving the quality monitoring system of early education and care".
