Regional workshops within the partnership project with European Training Foundation were held

On October 26-29 the Department of VET development in collaboration with an expert of the European Training Foundation (ETF) Christine Hemschemeier conducted workshops on the Education and business study results in the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kyzylorda Agrarian and Technical College named after I. Abdikarimov, Almaty State College of Power and Electronic Technologies and Pavlodar State College of Non-ferrous Industry.

The ETF practice of carrying out research works is linked with mandatory results validation in the form of discussions with stakeholders. Therefor representatives from regional chambers of entrepreneurs, enterprises and colleges were invited to take part in the workshops.

Workshop participants by doing the interactive tasks independently identified the type of interaction between their colleges and enterprises according to the framework developed by the ETF. Christine Hemschemeier introduced the best EU practices in tracking graduates and cooperation of education and business.

Workshop participants noted that the improvement of the interaction between education and business is the main condition for successful employment of graduates.
