Results of the National report preparation on the status and development of education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On August 12, 2016, the round table on the National report presentation on the status and development of education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nat report) prepared by Information-Analytic Center has been held.

The preparation of the Nat report is conducted annually since 2006. The Nat report is intended to inform the public, the pedagogical community, managers at all levels and international experts on the status and achievements of the education system of Kazakhstan.

For the first time global trends in education, Kazakhstan’s best regional practice at all levels of education, including the experience of the winners of the republican contest “Best teacher”, are highlighted in the Nat report. Thematic section “In the spotlight” has been introduced where the most pressing issues of preschool, secondary, technical and vocational and higher education are considered.

Besides, the rating results of regional educational systems for 2015, compiled on the updated Methodology, were summarized.

The report is based on the key results of the five-year implementation of State Program of Education Development in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020.

The roundtable participants discussed the achievements and milestones of development of all levels of education.

The roundtable was attended by representatives of the MES of RK, the Education Department of Astana city, National Testing Center, National Academy of Education named after Y.Altynsarin, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Center for International Programs “Bolashak”, JSC NCPD “Orleu”, holding “Kasipkor”, ENU named after L.N.Gumilyov and others.
