The second extended meeting of the international research of OECD on staff composition of early childhood education and care.

November 24-26, 2015 the second extended meeting of the international research of OECD on staff composition of early childhood education and development was held in Copenhagen. The meeting was arranged within the project “Research of OECD on early childhood education and care”.

The meeting was attended by delegates from 14 countries, representatives of UNESCO and European Commission. A joint meeting with the Committee of countries participating in the research of TALIS-2018 was held in the 26th of November, 2015. There were representatives from 53 countries among the delegates. 

During the meeting Directors of OECD were presented reports on research development and the updated plan for financing The OECD recognizes the need to create synergies between different research to improve the economic and practical benefits of ongoing projects. Thus, the main focus was placed on the integration of the study of OECD “Personnel of early childhood  education and study methodology TALIS-2018. 

At request of the Secretariat of the OECD association on early childhood education and care, manager of the development of pre-school education and upbringing of "IAC" JSC A. Eskendirova made a presentation on "The indicators used in Kazakhstan staffing system FEB» (Use of policy-driven indicators in Kazakh ECEC staff system). Proposals of Kazakhstan on the methodology of the study given in the presentations made by an employee of the Department in the course of the discussion were included into the materials of the meeting. On the basis of the meeting results,  an action plan for the continuation of the project “Study of OECD of early childhood education and care in 2016”.
