A new round of accelerated economic and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan has posed new challenges to the education system. The need for high-quality innovative development of the education system in the conditions of global competition and globalization required the active use of the capabilities of expert and analytical “think tanks”. Today, such centers are successfully functioning in all developed countries of the world. In Kazakhstan, the effectiveness of their activities has been proven by a number of popular scientific and analytical projects implemented by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies, the National Analytical Center, and the Institute of Economic Research. Taking into account this positive experience, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 15, 2011 No. 1063, JSC “Information and Analytical Center” was established. Experienced researchers with extensive work experience in the field of education, as well as young specialists from among the Bolashak fellows — graduates of the best universities in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Japan, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Germany and France were invited to work at the Center. On March 29, 2012, the Center received the status of a “scientific organization” by the decision of the Education Control Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Joint Stock Company “Information and Analytical Center” is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
