The purpose of the project: to develop scientifically based approaches to improving the content and management of secondary education and scientific and methodological foundations for the development of higher education.
Expected results
As a result of the implementation of the scientific and technical program,:
the features of perception and development of functional literacy in the academic environment are determined;
the features of the content of educational programs in terms of the development of functional literacy are determined;
a framework for assessing functional reading and mathematical literacy among students has been developed;
the test tasks for measuring the functional reading and mathematical literacy of students based on the experience of the framework of international comparative studies are proposed;
a methodology has been developed for assessing the functional literacy of students in universities;
prototype of an information system for assessing the functional literacy of university students;
two seminars were held to discuss the results of the study;
articles have been published in domestic and foreign peer-reviewed journals recommended by COXON of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the Higher Attestation Commission, and (or) in international journals indexed by international databases Scopus or Web of science (CA) with a non-zero index.
